Every year on the 8th of May, Helston stops for Flora Day. Doors are dressed in bluebells and gorse, brass bands strike up at dawn, and the town dances the Furry Dance through streets and houses alike, a tradition so old that nobody can say exactly when it began.

This poster is an original illustration in watercolour and ink, painted by Ella for the Ella's Adventures travel poster series. It comes with a letter home, in which Ella writes about Helston, the Furry Dance, and the kind of detail you will not find on a laminated information board.
