The Great Pyramid, Giza · Watercolour Postcard

Stand at the foot of the Great Pyramid and look again at those enormous faces, because they are keeping a secret. Each of the four faces is very slightly folded inward down the middle, so the pyramid really has eight sides, not four, a crease so faint it only shows at dawn on the spring and autumn equinox, when half of every face falls into shadow.
