Doyden Castle is a little castellated folly built around 1830 on the headland above Port Quin, said to have been made for Samuel Symons of Wadebridge as somewhere to drink, play cards and entertain his friends well away from disapproving eyes. It never saw a siege, only a great many dinners. An original illustration, available in colour or black and white, created for the Ella's Adventures travel poster series. You will also find it in the North Cornwall Heritage Colouring Book, with the full story of the place beside the drawing.

No frame included.

Please note that, to protect the original artwork from copyright infringement, the images shown on this website are low resolution. The poster you receive is printed in high resolution, with all the detail and clarity of the original.
